Society of Floristry Annual Show
Competition Rules and Conditions of Entry
1. Closing date for all entries was 31 October 2009 (this will be strictly adhered to)
2. The appropriate fee must accompany each entry in each class.
3. Competitors may place their entry(s) from 9.00am to 10.30am. (colleges from 9.00am to 11.00am)
4. Entries may not be removed before 4.00pm without written agreement from the organisers.
5. Security staff will be in attendance and your co-operation is appreciated.
6. Photography of entries is permitted but reproduction rights remain the property of the Society of Floristry and pictures may not be reproduced in any form without written permission from the organisers.
7. Competition doors will be open at approximately 1.30pm and presentation of prizes will be made in the Theatre at the end of the second show, at approximately 2.45/3.00pm. Whilst every effort will be made to judge and open the competition area as soon as possible, the organisers reserve the right to amend timing if necessary.
8. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the results.
9. Only one entry per class, per individual will be accepted.
10. You must enclose on a separate sheet with your application, the names and membership numbers, where applicable, of all names of the competitors for each of the competitions entered. Under no circumstances will entries be accepted without a name
11. Please note; trophies and cups for the competitions will be awarded on the day, but for administration and management purposes may only be held for one year by SOF member's resident in the UK and Eire.
12. Any non member wishing to apply for SOF membership can do no later than 14th October 2009.
