This competition was open to all florists
Competitors were asked to design and construct a table design, using an OASIS® Table Deco Quadro, for a cocktail party that will take place after the fashion show
Accessories could have been included but fresh materials should have predominated.
To be staged on open tables, space allowed 50cm x 50cm with no restriction on height.

CLASS C
UK School of Floristry Ltd
This competition was open to all florists
To celebrate the decorative style of floristry, taught by Wally Klett on the diploma course at the UK School of Floristry, the competitors were asked to construct a bridal design using her unique style as inspiration.
The bouquet was to be displayed on a suitable stand in an area 50cm x 50cm with no restriction on height. the competitors were asked to state the height of the bride, her hair colour and a photo or sketch of the bridal gown.
The bouquet had to be be constructed using wired technique(s) - foam holders and hand-tied designs were not allowed.
Fresh flowers and foliages had to be be included, decorative wires, accessories and ribbons could be incorporated - man-made flowers & foliage were not allowed.

Nevado Roses of Ecuador Competition
This competition was open to all florists
competitors were invited to be creative at the show
Flowers, foliage and sundries were provided; then using a few Nevado roses and foliage competitors were invited to create a trendy design, in 30 minutes.
All materials were be given to the competitors, and they let their design skills flow. Designs then went on display for judging (and photography)
The prize
A spectacular large box of roses delivered.
To be staged in the foyer of the EMCC. The competition will be held in four time slots consisting of 10 entries per slot organised on a first come first served basis
The winner was:

2nd and 3rd places were awarded to Gulbahar Agayeva and Jessica Richards respectively
This competition was open to all florists
Competitors were asked to create a hand-tied bouquet to interpret the theme ‘A La Mode'.
Fresh materials had to predominate but appropriate accessories could be incorporated.
The design was displayed in a clear vase - all water contained Chrysal cut food, consumer sachet or Chrysal professional 3. This will be tested prior to judging.
