I trained as a Teacher of Domestic Science, qualifying in 1965. I married in 1966 having a break whilst our two sons were small. I returned to part time teaching and also established our own floristry business with my husband. This business was sold recently as a going concern after 26 years.
I have been involved full time in the industry since 1981 and passed my ICSF in 1983 and the Diploma in1984. Since then I have been involved as an examiner and since 1993 as a Chief Examiner.
